RESULTS
The sale of Important Watches in Hong Kong on 8 October 2013 achieved a total of HK$175.8 million / US$22.5 million. The top lot of the sale was a Patek Philippe Fancy Carp and Rock Crystal Fountain Clock, which sold for HK$7.24 million / US$928,000. Following the top lot was a Patek Philippe Ref. 5073P platinum and diamond-set wristwatch, which sold for HK$6.64million / US$851,000.

Bringing together the finest and rarest of modern timepieces from historically established manufacturers such as Patek Philippe and Vacheron Constantin, with contemporary independent makers including Richard Mille and Greubel Forsey, this sale offers a significant number of important references appearing at auction for the first time. Making their auction debut is a Patek Philippe automatic minute repeating perpetual calendar in a platinum and diamond case, Ref. 5073, as well as the Vacheron Constantin pink gold Patrimony Grand Complication wristwatch, Ref. 80172, and the Richard Mille RM038 magnesium cased tourbillon specially designed for the big-hitting golfer Bubba Watson.
