This season’s Fine Chinese Ceramics and Works of Art sale showcases the finest imperial ceramics including a pair of famillerose ‘Flower Ball’ jars with marks and period of Qianlong (r. 1736 - 1795), a Jiajing mark and period (r. 1522 - 1566) wucai fish jar, and Yuan (1279 - 1368) and early Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644) blue and white ceramics. The sale also includes an extremely rare early 15th century cinnabar lacquer vase, a 17th century embellished zitan box and jades ranging from the Shang Dynasty (16th century - 1096 BC) to the Qing Dynasty (1644 - 1911).

In the various-owner sale, the top lot was a superbly enamelled and possibly unique Famille-Rose Peachbox and cover from the Period of Yongzheng sold for HK$ 43.8 million / US$ 5.64 million (Est. HK$ 35 – 45 million / US$ 4.5 – 5.8 million*).
