Among many other works with impeccable provenance, this sale features the libraries of two erudite collectors. Henri Florin de Duikingberg was a passionate bibliophile and the president of the Association Royale des Bibliophiles Belges. His collection runs from the 16th to the 19th centuries, with works elegantly bound and in excellent condition. Among these is Germanicarum rerum scriptores, 1600-1611 in a three-volumes set bound by Le Gascon with J.-A. de Thou's armorial plates and monograms of his two wives, Lamoignon's copy of Chancellor d'Aguesseau's Oeuvres in thirteen volumes, and literature works such as a rare copy of Zola's Pot Bouille on China paper.
