Frances Christie joined Sotheby’s in 2002 and is currently a member of the 20th Century British & Irish Art team in London. She has been responsible for a wide variety of sales, including Sotheby’s inaugural sale of Post-War and Contemporary Irish Art in October 2006, the first of its kind worldwide, which established 26 world auction records in the category.
Ms Christie graduated with a degree in History of Art from Trinity College, Cambridge, and completed a Master of Arts degree in Early 20th Century British and French Art at the Courtauld Institute, London.
