To coincide with London Fashion Week, Sotheby’s London will be hosting Luxury Week from 16–21 September to showcase highlights from the upcoming sales of Contemporary Art, guest curated by Anya Hindmarch, Fine Jewellery, Watches, Photography and Aboriginal Art.
A series of events across the week will include a late night opening on Friday 16 September, featuring a DJ, a Pommery Champagne tasting and Pommery pay bar; talks by Harper's Bazaar editors and Sotheby's Jewellery specialists on Sunday 18 September; an exhibition and talk by Jimmy Nelson; and live illustrations by artist Michalis Christodoulou at the new coffee bar. He will be in the coffee shop on 18 September doing live illustrations between 12 and 5pm.
