Last tasted from magnum. Wonderful perfume and elegance, lingering, rich and sumptuous. Great succulence and ripe charm, with a beautiful middle flavour. Very complete. At its most seductive and irresistible. SS.

Haut Brion is the connoisseur's First Growth, sumptuous, soft, elegant and fine, so come-hither you sink into it. The hidden depths in its velvet folds of flavour are a revelation, with the extraordinary Cohiba notes leading to a spicy, constantly intriguing taste. With age, Haut Brion simply melts in the mouth, while in youth it is delicious before the other Firsts emerge from the chrysalis. This is the classiest, finest-textured wine from Pessac-Leognan, with its unique, almost 'peaty' flavors. SS.
