OVERVIEW
Sotheby’s Russian Art Day Sale offers a wide spectrum of works from the 19th century to the present day, including an exquisite group of three paintings by Ivan Aivazovsky, which have remained in the same family for almost a century. Other highlights include a charming village scene by Nikolai Dubovskoy which was featured in the 1915/1916 Itinerant Art exhibition, Male Nude by Pavel Tchelitchew, as well as several works by Russian-American painter Nikolai Fechin.
