Description

the top inlaid with ebony, brass and white metal flowerhead trellis radiant parquetry, set on a solid mahogany ebonized tripod base inlaid in première and contre partie.

 

CATALOGUE NOTE

The present table with its exquisite and rather rare radiant marquetry is not only a fine exemple of high quality craftmanship and design but it also epitomises the fascination with the Boulle revival style that occured in Europe during the 1870s.
