Consistently achieving new benchmark prices, Sotheby's holds the record for the most expensive watch (and timepiece) ever sold at auction: Patek Philippe no.198.385 The Henry Graves Supercomplication, sold for $11,002,500. In the past five years alone, nine watches have sold at Sotheby's for over $1 million each.
